Privacy Policy

AGW Bathrooms Ltd respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Last updated 1 August 2026

1. Who we are

AGW Bathrooms Ltd, 247-249 Edgware Road, Colindale, London NW9 6LU, is the data controller for information collected through this website. Company number 16331234.

2. What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect what you type into it: your name, a phone number and/or an email address so we can reply, an optional category of what you're interested in, and your message. The form also has a hidden field that real visitors never see, used only to catch automated spam; if it's filled in, the message is discarded and nothing is stored. For a short time, and purely to stop rapid repeat submissions, our contact-form handler also notes the IP address a message was sent from; this is held in memory only, is never written to our own database, and clears itself. Separately, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for a short period as part of running the infrastructure — that's their operational logging, not something we access or use ourselves. We also collect basic, non-identifying analytics about how the site is used (see our Cookies Policy for what that involves).

3. How we use it

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, for example to call, WhatsApp or email you back about a bathroom you're interested in. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to.

4. Legal basis

We process enquiry information on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a request you've made) and, where relevant, to take steps towards a contract at your request (for example, arranging a supply). We also rely on legitimate interest to run basic website analytics — understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used. Because that analytics is cookieless and doesn't identify you individually, it doesn't need your consent under PECR to run; see our Cookies Policy for the detail.

5. Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and handle enquiries, who process personal information on our behalf and only for that purpose: Resend (to deliver enquiry emails to us) and Vercel (to host the site and run its analytics). Where a provider is based or processes data outside the UK, appropriate legal safeguards apply to that transfer. We don't allow any of these providers to use your information for their own purposes.

6. How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't lead to an order, we keep it for up to 12 months in case you get back in touch, then delete it. If it does lead to an order or an ongoing relationship, we keep the related information for 6 years after our last dealing with you, in line with the standard UK limitation period for contract claims, unless we're required to keep records for longer (for example, for accounting or tax purposes). We delete or anonymise information once these periods end.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or withdraw consent for its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Contact & complaints

For any privacy question or request, email admin@agwbathrooms.co.uk. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
